The Phoenix Within is a rock group based out of Queens, NY. The band is fronted by singer-songwriter Omar Feliciano and is backed by bassist Nicholas Narlis, guitarist John Narlis and drummer Steven Khan.
Raw Energy was produced and recorded by Robert Freeman at AudioPilot Studio in NJ. Our artwork was created by local Bronx, NY artist Kasey Sanchez. The music video for “Raw Energy” was filmed and directed by videographer and friend Danilo Cordova.
The song is a hard hitting punk-rock anthem that just slaps. The lyrics and theme are unfiltered, direct and offer a big “fuck you” to anyone that tries to tell others they should fall in line or diminish who they are.
