Kaleigh Releases Official Lyric Video For “Perfectly Imperfect”

*The Following Press Release Was Issued By Independent Music Promotion*

5 March 2021
Los Angeles-based triple threat (actor, model, musician) artist Kaleigh released her debut full-length rock/alternative album “Predestined” on March 5, 2021 on all platforms. Style-wise as well as lyrically, this album takes a brave leap from her prior pop leanings, one that Kaleigh credits to ‘coming of age.’

“The main inspiration for this album is the notion of coming of age. I just graduated from UCLA in March of 2020 and turned 22 years old in December of that year, so I feel like my perspective on the world has changed. I’m no longer a little girl dreaming about writing music; I’m a woman writing music about what I see in this world and how I feel. I hope that strikes a chord with people and touches some hearts. I really believe there is a song on this album for everyone.”

Like many creatives, Kaleigh had to pivot to stay productive during the pandemic, opting to record “Predestined” in her own studio. She found music an ideal forum to express the tidal wave of emotion brought on by rapid change in the world and personally.

“This album was written entirely during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. I’m lucky enough to have a studio and my ability to continue creating art was very cathartic. It helped ease the turmoil of emotions I was feeling about the state of the world.”

“This debut album is vital because of the wide range of subjects it touches upon: first loves, growing up, rebellion, lust, addiction, heartbreak, career goals, chasing dreams, and perhaps most relevant to today’s state of being in the US, political and social criticisms.”
