It’s a fantastic story which will be featured in five pages of PREMIER GUITAR’s February 2021 issue. The two became friends after Reid invited Derek to play some tour dates with Living Colour. Vernon co-wrote, produced, and arranged Derek Day’s new single, “Click on Me” and has been steadfastly promoting it. “’Click On Me’ is a song that’s on the pulse of the obsessions, distractions, desires, distortions and connections that define modern life in our present fractured moment,” Vernon says. The December 2020 issue of Music Connection Magazine features Reid and Day, together with Thomas Ross Johnson (Strawhorse Studios, Los Angeles), in the “Studio Mix” section. The issue also features a full-page article by Day titled, Mesmerizing An Audience, in the “Tip Jar” section (last page of the issue). Enjoy the “Click On Me” animated video HERE.
