A newly released album, EP, or single by a mainstream or widely-known artist (charting acts, major labels, household names). Examples: Macklemore, Tegan and Sara, Taylor Swift, Drake. Takes precedence over new-releases and new-songs when those artists appear in the title with "out now" or "available today". Genre-internal popularity alone does not qualify.
