| Photo Credit: David James Swanson Filmed January 13, 2023 during his globally successful Supply Chain Issues Tour, Jack White Live At The Belasco sees White – backed by Dominic Davis (bass), Daru Jones (drums) and Quincy McCrary (keyboards) – unleashing an epic, career-spanning setlist that includes classic cuts, fan favorites and greatest hits from both The White Stripes, as well as across his award-winning solo catalogue. The intimate performance was met by ecstatic praise from Variety, which simply raved, “(White’s) combination of deeply studied songcraft and seeming primal abandon is a good trick, if you can pull it off. Which no one else really can. It may be a foolish thing to say less than three weeks into January, but it’s hard to imagine L.A. will have seen a better rock ‘n’ roll show by the time we’re making 2023 lists and checking them twice in December.” White also returned to NBC’s Saturday Night Live for the fifth time in his career, offering up a towering performance on the Woody Harrelson-hosted episode. The first performance saw White and his band light up SNL’s famed Studio 8H with a fiery medley of “Taking Me Back” and “Fear of the Dawn” – the opening tracks on the first of White’s two 2022 solo albums, FEAR OF THE DAWN. The quartet returned later in the evening for a swinging rendition of “A Tip From You To Me,” one of the many standouts featured on last year’s second solo album, ENTERING HEAVEN ALIVE.
