About SORAIA:

Soraia’s third studio album with Wicked Cool Records showcases tragic romance, awakened passion, fiery desire and lost identity – yet is ultimately filled with their consistent foreboding of hope. These themes – combined with the band’s signature hard rocking, motivating sound – create a unique listening experience. ‘Bloom’ inevitably empowers the listener to make the change they choose– it advocates speaking your truth and living your life – consequences be damned.

‘Bloom’ builds on the themes established throughout the band’s career. Their first studio album ‘Dead Reckoning’ (2017) featured songs defining where they stood from the viewpoint of where they’d been. 2020’s ‘Dig Your Roots’ was all about accepting who and what they are, and ‘Bloom’ – the third in the series – is about letting go of all these things and finding that new place: musically, as a group and as individuals. If 2020 taught us anything—it is how to unapologetically stand up proudly for who and what we are.

With every release, Soraia continues to gain experience, momentum and strength. They have garnered the attention of many soulful rock legends in the music business, including Jon Bon Jovi, Steven Van Zandt and Joan Jett. The core band features ZouZou Mansour (lead vocals), Travis Smith (bass) and Brianna Sig (drums). Together, they have unmatched chemistry and passion for the music they play.

Soraia recently opened for Joan Jett and wrapped a run of shows with Hayley and The Crushers.

About Palmyra Delran and the Doppel Gang:

Palmyra Delran is inciting espionage. “’Come Spy With Me’ is an invitation to come for the ride and listen to the record with me,” says the trash-pop maven of her most recent album with her band The Doppel Gang (released in 2918) on Steven Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records.

The New Yorker (by way of Philadelphia) with a penchant for mod and Vespa scooter culture recruited so many spies to conspire with her that nearly every track on this self-produced tour de force of a platter with backing band The Doppel Gang boasts one or more guest stars. Blondie’s Debbie Harry lends vocals on the first two songs and contributions abound from a who’s who of punk, garage and power pop demigods including Kim Shattuck (Muffs), Cáit O’Riordan (Pogues), female rock pioneer Genya Ravan (who brings it all full circle on a cover of early ’70s girl-rockers Fanny), Ben Vaughn, Peter Zaremba (Fleshtones), Paul Collins (Paul Collins’ Beat), Eddie Muñoz (Plimsouls), “Speedie” John Carlucci (Fuzztones), and even Little Steven himself.

Her work with The Coolies combined her talents with those of the late Kim Shattuck (frontwoman of The Muffs and bassist of The Pandoras) and Melanie Vammen (The Pandoras and formerly of The Muffs), where they performed in the guise of their Ramonesesque alter egos –Kimba Coolie, Melimba Coolie and Palimba Coolie.

When she’s not writing, recording, or touring, Ms. Delran brings the rock and soul to the people as host of Palmyra’s Trash-Pop Shindig on Little Steven’s Underground Garage channel, Mon and Tues afternoons 4pm – 7pm, Wed and Thurs evenings 8pm to midnight, with a weekend special Palmyra’s Trash Pop Treasures Sat 8am and Sun noon on SiriusXM 21. “I get to unleash the geek and not just bore my friends with music facts!”

PALMYRA DELRAN AND THE DOPPEL GANG is: Palmyra Delran – vocals, guitar; Michael Lynch — bass and backing vocals; Mark Brotter — drums; Bob Wojciechowski — guitar and backing Vocals.

About UNDERGROUND GARAGE:

What do Little Richard, The White Stripes, Darlene Love, The Beatles and The Ramones have in common? Little Steven’s Underground Garage! Maximum Rock and Soul!

In April of 2002, Stevie Van Zandt launched Little Steven’s Underground Garage, his internationally syndicated terrestrial Rock and Soul radio show. Each week, Little Steven takes audiences on a two hour trip through all 60 years of Rock and Roll and its roots. Not only does The Underground Garage play the coolest Rock records ever made, but it has helped introduce over 1000 new bands throughout the history of the show including The White Stripes, The Strokes, The Hives, Arcade Fire, Gaslight Anthem, The Black Keys, Rival Sons and more to an international audience. Over 40% of the format is dedicated to new music and emerging artists.

The show also features pop culture history, Steven’s anecdotes, fun facts and occasional interviews. It is broadcast on over 80 stations in 200 plus markets, including internationally in Canada, UK, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Sweden, Belgium, Peru and Australia, as well as worldwide on the American Forces Network and Voice of America.

Over 1000 consecutive weekly episodes have aired and have included such special guests as Jack Black, Brian Wilson, Ray Davies, Peter Wolf, Iggy Pop, Ringo Starr, Keith Richards, Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen, and has been endorsed by legends like David Bowie, Pete Townshend, Lou Reed, Ozzy Osbourne, Joan Jett, Robert Plant, James Hetfield, Debbie Harry and many, many others.

The success of the radio show has allowed Little Steven’s Underground Garage to expand beyond the world of radio into television, live events, albums, satellite radio and more.

The Underground Garage on SIRIUSXM:

In 2003, after the success of “Little Steven’s Underground Garage,” the newly launched Sirius Satellite Radio recruited Steven to create it’s FIRST original content. He would start the service’s first 24/7 branded music channels, while also continuing to record his syndicated terrestrial show. One channel was “The Underground Garage.” Stylistically, the format is a continuation of the syndicated terrestrial show. While radio was turning towards computer generated playlists, Steven would go in the complete opposite direction and hire Rock and Roll personalities from various backgrounds as DJ’s to add their own stories and anecdotes to the music.
