TREASVRE “Run Away” Music Video Premiere Bay Area post-rock outfit, TREASVRE, are back with another single from their upcoming EP titled Stick the Knife In. “Run Away” finds the band leaning into their electronic influences and it sounds like it could be in a John Carpenter chase scene. In fact, “Run Away” is about encountering someone that is dangerous and untrustworthy. “It’s a warning to be careful who you trust, because there are people in this world who will take advantage of your good intentions to get what they want from you.” – TREASVRE. It’s a heavy track driven by synths and chugging guitars that packs a whole lot of emotion. The band worked with filmmaker, Michael Beltrán, to put together a music video to accompany it and its streaming now at The Bad Copy. “Run Away” is available on all digital platforms now and Stick the Knife In will be released on Friday, April 8th. STREAM: RUN AWAY Tour Dates: 4/30 @ Amado’s – San Francisco, CA Bio: TREASVRE is a band of five San Francisco Bay Area natives that blends elements of post-rock and shoegaze with rich synth textures, heavy guitar riffs and electronic rhythms. Vocalists Sabrina Simonton and Samantha Peña create wistful harmonies that underscore the themes of nostalgia, melancholy, and hopefulness found in their lyrics. The drama and depth conveyed by their music creates a distinctly cinematic quality — one that captures the complex range of human emotion in beautiful and inspiring ways and begs to be experienced live.
