The Dollyrots are more than ready to re-start their live shows after having to postpone their 2020 tours due to the Pandemic lockdown orders. The band is ready to hop into the tour bus for their “Like An Animal” tour beginning July 28 in Austin, TX. Tickets on sale at www.thedollyrots.com
The Dollyrots are road-ready once again and gearing up to bring their trademark melodic pop-punk party to the masses. “Hitting the road again means so much more to me after the past year. We’ve all changed and grown, but one thing that has remained the same is how much I love making people happy with our music. I can’t wait to see our fans and exchange some long overdue hugs! Hurry hurry hurry! Before I go insane!” – says singer and bass player Kelly Ogden.

“When we started this band 20 years ago, we never thought our 20th year of shows would be a comeback from a global pandemic, but after a year off, we’re roaring back stronger than ever, playing a bunch of the cities we had to cancel in 2020. We’re more grateful than ever to be able to do this and cannot wait to rock loud and bring all of the fun!,” says guitarist Luis Cabezas.
The Dollyrots are Kelly Ogden on vocals and bass, Luis Cabezas on guitar with Rikki Styxx on drums for the July dates and Justin McGrath on drums for the September dates.
The Dollyrots 2019 album Daydream Explosion was deemed by NPR as a ‘Notable Release’ and Huffington Post called it a “foot-stomping medley” as it debuted on three Billboard charts. Their 2017 album Whiplash Splash hit Heatseekers chart at #13 and on the Independent Albums chart at #31. The band’s 2016 live album/DVD Family Vacation: Live in Los Angeles hit #15 on Heatseekers, while previous studio album Barefoot And Pregnant peaked at #7 on the same chart. The Dollyrots are currently in the studio working on new music.
