(LOS ANGELES, June 11, 2021) – Best-selling children’s author, James DiNanno, teamed up with Kellin Quinn (lead vocalist of Sleeping With Sirens), Ryan Key (formerly lead vocalist of Yellowcard) and Howi Spangler (lead vocalist of Ballyhoo!) to create a Kid-Friendly Pop-Punk album titled The First Rock Band on Mars. This newly unveiled and highly anticipated album is available now via all digital and streaming platforms. The six-track album features all original music for parents alike who are looking for alternative options outside of classic children’s tunes. With Quinn on lead vocals, Key on vocals and bass, Spangler on vocals and guitar and DiNanno on drums, the collective all co-wrote and independently distributed the album. With powerful vocals synched with killer bass, guitar and drums, the group creates a symbiotic sound and the music is reminiscent to the throwback punk genres of the early 2000’s. This album pushes the boundaries for modern day children’s music and creates a necessary space for what has been missing in the genre.

The First Rock Band on Mars is a concept album produced from DiNanno’s 2020 best-selling children’s book The First Rock Star on Mars, which explores an adventurous journey through space, with the first ever music festival performed on planet Mars. Throughout the story, kids are encouraged to follow their dreams, learn about the planets, and think big. The book is available on Amazon HERE.
