Praise for Divided Heaven:

“‘1983’ serves as an indie-rock meets pop-rock track showcasing that softer, more vulnerable side of Divided Heaven.” – Substream Magazine

“Divided Heaven’s new record Cold War could easily be the soundtrack of a movie that “reek(s) of nostalgia” and mystique.” Punknews.org

“Divided Heaven’s Cold War captures the sneer, courage and unapologetic chuckle that is so prevalent in punk rock, but the sound has evolved to something much bigger than itself — this is a project you need to pay attention to.” – Dental Records Music

“The album marks a major progression from an artist who continues to explore new sounds and musical styles after so many years.” – Glide Magazine

“Hauntingly desperate, eerily peaceful, Divided Heaven’s latest iteration is every bit of calm as it is calamitous- a mile marker of artful peacekeeping, with Cold War procuring a lasting imprint of the polarity of a tense reality as its namesake supposes.” – OuchThatHertz

“Vocalist and songwriter Jeff Berman poured his heart and soul into the lyrics, truly bearing all and leaving nothing out. Berman’s songs resonate with listeners because of the heartfelt stories they tell in true punk rock fashion.” – Out From the Pine Box

Bio:

DIVIDED HEAVEN is the brainchild of singer/songwriter/troubadour/frontman Jeff Berman; a punk rock lifer delivering catchy, thought-provoking songs. Think Shout At The Devil meets Tapestry and you’ll find a unique space where the DIVIDED HEAVEN catalogue thrives and engages listeners, just as Berman has been doing—on stage and on record—for years. Jeff Berman writes songs that evoke images of heartache and longing, as well as forgiveness and reconciliation, with the focus on powerful and poetic lyrics. Now, DIVIDED HEAVEN is back with a political fury and purpose with the fiery dissenting new single, ‘They Poisoned Our Fathers’ (which features the incomparable Lydia Loveless).
