A story like none other… perhaps possible only in today’s day and age lies the story of 4 Minutes Later. No this story doesn’t start in a hometown, or a local disk jockey giving them a spin, but rather on the internet and solely on the internet does 4ML exist.
The curious case of 4 Minutes Later begins in 2018, where the band under @4mlmusic tweeted “music coming soon.” No band members, no band images, no shows, no location given, just the promise of music. It wasn’t long before curiosity captured an online audience and #whois4ML trended across the UK, USA and Mexico, before even releasing a song.
Over the course of the following year, 4 Minutes Later delivered on their promise, releasing a series of singles before their self titled debut EP. Doing this all while remaining anonymous and totalling over half a million streams in the process.
