Costas Varras released his first album “Overlord’s Perpetual” in 2004 by Sonic Age Records and had some special live shows, like opening for “W.A.S.P.” at Gagarin Club Athens. In 2006, Costas moved to Los Angeles and in 2008, he graduated from “Musicians Institute” in Hollywood.

The latest release of Costas Varras is the album “NEON-CLASSICAL.” The Demos for this album began in Hollywood in 2008. In 2009, Costas traveled to England to record with legendary Chris Tsangarides as a recording and mixing technician. However, after they finished working on 10 songs, this material was never released because Costas was looking to sign a contract deal with a Major Record Label.

A few years ago, Bob Katsionis encouraged him to continue recording, and the album NEON-CLASSICAL finally released with 13 songs. Featuring Henning Basse (Firewind, Mayan, ex-Sons Of Seasons, etc), Chity Somarala (ex-Firewind, ex-Avalon), Kevin Gootcher (Omen), Billy Vass (Terra Incωgnita), Vaine Bodner and Joseph Michael (Witherfall).

Recording, production and mixing by Bob Katsionis at Studio Sound Symmetry in Athens and mastering by Nasos Nomikos at VU Productions.
