| “Forced Perspective” single artwork Dazy (aka Richmond, VA-based James Goodson) released a new single, “Forced Perspective,” via Lame-O Records. Recorded at home by Goodson and co-produced with Ryan Hemsworth (who also mixed the song), “Forced Perspective” feels like a mixtape of your favorite late ‘90s/early ‘00s alternative radio hits–all coalesced into one irresistible track. The single follows Dazy’s acclaimed 2022 debut album, OUTOFBODY and 2023 EP, OTHERBODY and continues to highlight Goodson’s innate knack for making nostalgic sounds feel fresh again. Anchored by a big layered beat, an elastic bass line and an earworm chorus, “Forced Perspective” signals an evolution in Dazy’s sound while remaining ever-catchy.
