Joviac Releases Official Music Video For “Misplaced”

*The Following Press Release Was Issued By Rogue PR*

Finnish progressive metal band Joviac dropped a music video for their single “Misplaced.”

Viljami: ‘Misplaced’ is an intensely personal song for me. I wrote the lyrics when I was in a dark place in my life. I was dealing with the aftermath of a breakup and since music is a form of therapy for me, those emotions leaked into this song. I was dealing with a lot of guilt, even though I was the one responsible for ending the relationship, so I painted this picture in my head of myself as some kind of villain, but ultimately, it just came down to the fact that emotionally, I wasn’t in the right place at the right time in my life. ‘Misplaced’ was originally recorded during the ‘Here And Now’ album sessions, but was ultimately put aside for a stand alone release. ‘Misplaced’ is definitely no B-side. I’m very proud of it, but I thought that it didn’t quite fit in on the album. It stands on its own feet as a relatively straight-forward, in-your-face kind of song, but has a lot of soul and emotional depth to it.
