*The Following Press Release Was Issued By Domino Media Group*

Montecharge’s first full-length album ‘Demons Or Someone Else’ finally erupts from the Geneva underground after years of slow gestation.

About 6 years after their last record – a 7″ 2-tracks single (released in 2013 through Hummus Records), Swiss metal/hardcore/noise rockers MONTECHARGE are about to give birth to their debut full-length effort called ‘Demons Or Someone Else’ and coming out in December on LP & Digital through various labels such as Abekeit, URGENCE DISK RECORDS, Violence In The Veins or WOOAAARGH.

In the meantime, the band premiered a first audio and video glance from its upcoming effort with the music video of ” XVII. Oreste” available right now on YouTube.

…For the record…MONTECHARGE emerged in 2007 as a reunion between two members of Amok, adefunct grind/death outfit from Geneva, Switzerland. They rapidly wrote their firsttracks with the intent to deliver aggressive music while aiming for a form of subtlety.

As a side-project, the band initially remained a guitar/drum duo. They self-produced a 5-track EP in 2012, which was released as a 10’’ vinyl limited to 100 copies. In 2013, Montecharge expanded to include a third member in order to reinforce its experimental inclinations with synthesizers, Theremin and various noise machines.

The trio then recorded three tracks in studio to answer the call of a Swedish multi-bandproject named Elemental Nightmares. One track was published on the compilation and two were released on a 7’’ with Hummus Records. After a second hiatus due to implications in other projects the band regrouped in 2016 with renewed strength to write their first album and search for a vocalist.

Both of which came to fruition early 2017: Montecharge took on the studio as a quartet to record an album with Thierry Van Osselt (of Knut fame) in Geneva.
